Visited Westminster Quaker Meeting on 19 July 1814 following receipt of a letter from "Quakers", then a despised sect, hoping to prevail upon Heads of State then visiting to celebrate the (first) defeat of Napoleon (1812). A visit with profound consequences for Russia and for English Quakers.
